Michael and I ...This post sounds all too familiar. Michael and I were set to leave on a cruise the day after he was admitted due to his tumor. He argued with the doctors about the immediacy of their concern, as we had been looking forward to our cruise, and had spent a lot of money. Eventually the doctor pulled me aside and explained how serious it was. Until that moment they had been calling it a mass, and it didn't occur to either of us that a mass means a tumor.<br /><br />It's been two years of lying in bed alone for me. I still reach out for the other side, which remains cold and empty.
